As in the 2018 edition, the Australian International Olive Awards have again recognized the quality of Goya extra virgin olive oils and olives.
In the 2019 edition, we championed in both olive oil and table olive categories, also repeating last year´s success with the Best EVOO Northem Hemisphere award for its Goya “Unico”, and the Best Table Olive Northem Hemisphere for its Manzanilla stuffed with Minced Hot Pepper.
Our olive oils and table olives have won a total of 12 medals. The highest awards were for the Unico and Ecológico premium extra virgin olive oils and specialty tuna and hot pepper stuffed olives, with four gold medals.
In turn, the silver medals were for Fruity extra virgin olive oil and specialty blue cheese and serrano ham stuffed olives.
Additionally, in the bronze category, the medals were awarded to the green olives, pepper stuffed olives and the specialty fillings of manchego cheese and spicy chorizo.
The Australian International Olive Awards are among the newest and most comprehensive olive oil and table olive competitions in the world. As in the two previous editions, the main objective was to professionally judge extra virgin olive oil, flavored olive oils and table olives from around the world, promoting them.
