Crispy Chicken and Fries

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lb chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 lemons (juice)
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 7 oz all-purpose flour for coating
  • 2 cups Goya Extra Virgin Olive Oil

PREPARATION

First, marinate the chicken so that it is well seasoned. To do this, finely chop the garlic cloves and mix them with the juice of the lemons, salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken, cover with plastic wrap and keep it chilled for 30 minutes.

After this time, mix the milk, water and egg in a bowl.

Put the chicken in this mixture, making sure that all the pieces are completely covered.

Coat the chicken, dipping it in the flour, and then fry it in a pan or deep frying pan with plenty of oil. Fry over medium heat for about 6 minutes on each side.

When the pieces are well browned and floating in the oil, remove them and drain the excess oil on absorbent paper.

All you need to do now is serve the crispy chicken with French fries and barbecue sauce. You can also prepare a combo of sauces with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and aioli. Irresistible!
