Gluten-free Belgian Waffles

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.75 cups of gluten-free pastry flour
  • 2 teaspoons of yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of organic wholemeal panela sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
  • 1.5 cups of buttermilk
  • 0.25 cup Light Flavor Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 organic eggs
  • 0.5 cup Sliced fruit, caramel or chocolate syrup and icing sugar for decoration (optional)
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream (optional)

PREPARATION

Mix all the ingredients of our waffles in a bowl.

Once they are all well combined, let the mixture rest for 15 minutes.

Heat the waffle iron. Spray the surface with oil. For greater convenience we can use aerosol cooking spray.

Pour approximately 3/4 of 1 cup of the mixture onto the plate of the waffle iron.

Cook for approximately 5 minutes or until no steam is released.

Once the time is up, take the waffle out of the waffle iron.

Our gluten-free Belgian waffles can be served on their own or with fruit, ice cream, icing sugar, cinnamon, caramel syrup, chocolate syrup – whatever you like the most!
