Homemade Hummus Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 17.5 oz previously cooked chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp. Unico Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 lemon (squeezed for the juice)
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. tahini
  • salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp. sweet paprika

PREPARATION

Blend the chickpeas, garlic, salt, cumin and tahini in a food processor or using a stick blender.

Next add the juice of one lemon and the olive oil.

Continue blending until you get a creamy chickpea paste that is easily spreadable. Finally, garnish with a drizzle of Goya Unico Extra Virgin Olive Oil and half a teaspoon of sweet paprika.

You can serve your hummus with breadsticks, slices of homemade bread or pita bread. Enjoy!
